Your privacy is important to us, and we take the responsibility of handling your personal information very seriously. Our Privacy Policy now describes in more detail:

Statement of Commitment
VIVE Club is committed to protecting your privacy and any personal information we collect. VIVE Club complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains how we may collect, use, disclose, and otherwise handle personal and sensitive information.
VIVE Club recognises that individuals have a right to control how their personal information is collected and used. Providing personal information is an act of trust and it is taken seriously. Unless given consent to do otherwise, VIVE Club will only collect and use personal information as set out below.
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, personal information may include some or all of the following: a member’s name, contact details, date of birth, emergency contact details, bank account and/or credit card details, student identification details, employment details, payment history, and sensitive information.
Collecting Personal Information
VIVE Club will not collect or monitor any personal information about an individual without their consent. The only personal information collected is what is voluntarily provided by a member or prospective member.
We collect personal information primarily to enable us to provide members with our services or functions related thereto. VIVE Club may also use the information for marketing to you or for any other purpose permitted under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
You do not need to identify yourself when you interact with us (e.g., to find out more about membership packages); however, in certain situations we will only deal with individuals who have identified themselves to us.
When a membership or product is purchased, personal information will be requested to provide the requested service or product, provide updated information, and advise of other VIVE Club products which may be of interest. You are not obligated to provide personal information; however, failure to do so may result in VIVE Club being unable to provide services or products to you.
Personal information is collected directly from members or potential future members when they complete and submit an application form to become a member of VIVE Club. This can be done in person at one of our facilities, online via our website, or via phone with one of our Membership Consultants.
Collecting Sensitive Information
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, sensitive information means information a member has disclosed to us about their physical and mental health and well-being.
Sensitive information will only ever be used for providing services to members. Such information will not be used or disclosed for any other purposes without consent, except in exceptional cases when disclosure may be required by law, or is necessary to protect the rights or property of VIVE Club, any VIVE Club group company, or any member of the public, or to lessen a serious threat to a person's health or safety.
Use of Tracking Technologies
VIVE Club uses tracking technologies such as cookies or web beacons to make use of the website and services as convenient as possible. Cookies are pieces of information that a website transfers to a computer's hard disk for record-keeping purposes. A web beacon is a technical method that sends information related to website access when you browse websites, open, or preview an HTML-formatted email.
Most web browsers are set to accept tracking technologies such as cookies or web beacons. These tracking technologies do not themselves personally identify users, although they do identify a user's browser. They allow VIVE Club to monitor the website and record how many people are using different parts of the site.

To fulfil obligations under a member’s membership agreement and/or any other contract between the member and VIVE Club;
To render services under a member’s membership agreement;
To provide information about products, services, and/or special offers to members;
To obtain opinions or comments about products and/or services from members;
To record statistical data for marketing analysis;
To process and consider an application for employment;
To promote and market all current and future VIVE Club venues, products, and services and inform new members about the products and services of VIVE Club’s commercial partners;
To assist with VIVE Club’s internal business processes;
To conduct market research and/or improve VIVE Club’s products and services;
To administer contests, promotions, and surveys;
For any other purposes that could be reasonably expected of VIVE Club; and
To enable VIVE Club to comply with its obligations under law.
VIVE Club may employ other companies or service providers to assist us in providing our services, including marketing, market research, mail-house services, debt recovery, hosting, product development, analysis of member lists, and consulting services.
VIVE Club may disclose your personal information to third parties performing these functions, including debt collection agencies. These third parties cannot use the information for other purposes.

Related entities of VIVE Club;
Contractors, agents, and suppliers engaged to provide products and/or perform services;
Commercial partners with whom VIVE Club has agreed information-sharing arrangements;
Professional advisors such as legal professionals and accountants;

Contact by VIVE Club
VIVE Club does not send advertising information without prior consent. If you receive communications you do not wish to receive, you may remove your name from the database by contacting your local VIVE Club.
Individual’s Right of Access
Individuals have the right to review, amend, or delete personal and/or sensitive information recorded by VIVE Club. Requests may be made by completing the access request form at your home club’s reception.
Deletion may not always be possible if required by law, and may affect VIVE Club’s ability to provide services or products.
Storage and Security of Personal and/or Sensitive Information
VIVE Club takes reasonable steps to secure personal information and keep it accurate and up to date. Digital information is stored on secure servers; hardcopy information is kept in locked areas within controlled facilities. In some cases, these facilities may be overseas, including in Amsterdam, England, or the United States.
Only authorised personnel may access your information. Information is destroyed or de-identified when no longer needed.

VIVE Club provides links to external websites. These linked sites are not under VIVE Club’s control, and VIVE Club is not responsible for their content or performance.
